Hey robbe,

just played seraph for awhile in 1.30 and realised... there's a complete makeover in general of most abilities. No conversion and no solo hell.

many int-based damage spells are nerfed -- benefit is seraph is more tanky now with the 20% str as armour change.

So the question is... with so many changes in his skills why wasn't the changelog edited --. haha

I replaced conversion with this new skillshot ability because the seraph needed an ability to rapidely get into a fight.
besides that conversion caused many bugs and exploits, was hard to balance and was bugged.

Robbe, I noticed that you keep changing all the percentage and multiplier spells to give raw effect plus some lesser percentage. Example, u changed Mage's discharge from 2x int to 100 + 1x int. Now you changed Blessing from 30% agi damage to 20 + 20% agi damage (Armour re-work is a nice buff, ty). Why? These changes are weakening the characters at higher levels.

a base value plus an additional attribute depending value makes it possible for me to balance an ability perfectly for a wide range of hero levels.
so abilities which have no base value are weak in the beginning and was bad for new players because they thought then that all goh spells are not useful etc. ...

that's why I try to add a base value and a attribute depending value to nearly all abilities. =)

oh ok. But i still think it is a significant nerf at the end of the game. Better to slog harder in the earlier levels and enjoy the full potential at higher levels. Spells stop getting more powerful at level 27 and then we depend on stat allocation to make up for the spell growth, along with spell power, of course.

I feel that these changes are bringing back the preference to put all the stat points on one attribute, because it is needed to break the dps limit of high level bosses. Players will shift more towards specialized roles as balancing out the roles will in the end not benefit them at all against the end game bosses.

in general it tends to skill your attributes in a balanced way because most of the times I balance the new values best for balanced attributes. so a hero with equal attributes deals NEARLY the same damage as before when he skilled every single point into int and had no defense.

electrical discharge was just overpowered and everybody used this ability which drastically lowered the gameplay potential of an elemental mage player. besides that it was useless in earlier levels.
