Hey, guys. I've studyed a monk for a few days :D And i want to share with you how to skill him, what item build you should use :). Hope u'll like this tutorial.

So lets start :) ...

How to skill my monk?

Well, monk ia a Nice character in GoH, because he has a Nice spells that gives him many choices how to skill him.

So, you can skill him like a tank or like a supporter.

Start like this:
Lvl 1-5 pure int
Lvl 6-10 pure str
Lvl 11-15 pure int
Lvl 16-20 pure str
Lvl 21-25 pure int
Lvl 26-30 pure str
Lvl 30-33 pure int
Lvl 34-37 pure str

Your stats looks like this:
Str: 100
Agi: 10
Int: 100

Now you have to choose between tank And support.
If u choose a tank, skill ewerything on str.
But if you've choosen support, skill it on int.

What skills should i use?
You don't have so many ways :). You have to use skills that don't need inteligence for damageing or healing, but there aren't many spells like that. So from my opinion, you should use these:
• Great Deserve - great healing and damageing skill
• Aura of Peace - when your enemies have smaller damage, they have smaller chance to kill you
• Pulse of Vengeance - deals 70% of your inteligence each sec for 10 sec. You have 100 int + items, so it deals more than 700 dmg
• Hand of Kahjem - this is a great skill that increases hp reg, great when ur making dragon treasure quest, the message and melargaba's army
• Blinding Ray - this skill decreases enemie's chance to hit you, so u have a chance to survive longer
• Sky Light - pretty good skill, but needs inteligence for bigger damage, but you can use it against bosses to decrease their hp regeneration

You must be familiar with these skills if you want to kill something. :)

What items should i use?
Now, you need items that gives you armor, hp reg, bonus hp and some mana reg.

This item build is ideal :)
Mace of fahras, Champions belt, Armor of pure magic, Kings helmet, Master ring, Boots of the terminator.

What skills should i use?
If you're making your monk a support, i think you have some tank so you must support him :). I think these skills are great:
• Great Deaserve - it heals 50% of target's hp and damages the same damage in 300aoe
• Healing Ray - this is pretty good healing abilitie
• Hand of Kahjem - this abilitie gives you and your tank nice hp regeneration, always use it
• Stars of Hope -  you need this skill very much to survive, because your tank can't deatroy mobs by all the ways
• Aura of Peace - this skill decreases damage of all enemies around you, so u'll give a bigger chance to survive for you and also your tank
• Dream Splitter/Sky light - now you have enough healing abilities, u need something to help your tank

You must be familiar with these skills if you want to be a good support. :)

What items should i use?
Every supporter monk need some spellheal, bonus mana and mana regeneration.

I prefer this items:
Mace of fahras, Corona, Chaos boots, Armagica helmet, Ancient mana shield, Ultimate dragon orb.

You know, that this is a Monk guide, that is so old, that the class actually used to be called Monk at that time, right?
Noone has posted here in over two and a half years. So of course this guide is not accurate anymore.

Please check the date of the creation of a topic and the last post before posting. (In case you see this, Lorenzorro, yes, I did necro some threads, when I came back to this forum, but I did learn my lesson)

One of my points was, that you cannot compare an ancient Monk guide to a recent Priest one, and that noone will bother to alter this guide or create a new guide for Monks.

And reviving old threads in general is a bad idea, that usually does not have any positive effects in the end. You may read them, if you are interested (like I was, when I returned to the forum), but posting in them does not help the progression.

Anyway, I am not a mod, so I will stop bothering with this.
