Priest is one of 8 heroes in GOH. But he is the only one team heal hero who can make a mass heal and revive partners. He has got a different spells and you have several variants how to skill him=). I call Priest "The Universal soldier".

2. Pros and Cons
Spoiler
Pros("+"):
+ The only team heal hero in the map
+ Can revive the allies and then the players won't lose gold
+ The universal hero - can be heal/tank/support/dd it depends on build, skills, equipments=)
+ Great support for boss killing!
+ Some of his heal spells ("Wall of Light", "Great Deserve", "Stars of Hope") make damage at the same time!

Cons ("-"):
- Have to choose between heal and damage
- The weakest class on the part of physical damage
- Can't survive on heavy amount of enemy units on leveling
- Can't revive himself with his "Revival" skill =(

3.Videos
Spoiler
On this video you can see how Priest (Masterja) is killing Cronos solo=) Great job, nice equipment and spells but I recommend this only for skillful players because you would be so vulnerable in this case. But in 1.35c I think its impossible because of Prests nerfs...Check the Changelog!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OgzesTmAWo

This is a previous form of priest which was called Monk=) (interest-only)
You can see Monk was able to dismay Ascalor solo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q6NuYqvvgA

As you see we haven't got a lot of videos of Priest game. Maybe because Priest is the team hero but we need more materials)) Let's create!

4.Skills

Like each hero in GOH, Priest has got 12 skills.
Here they are:

Blinding Ray [hotkey - W]
The Priest blinds all nearby enemy units for some seconds. Attacks of blinded units standing under this effect will always miss. Half duration on heroes and bosses. No mana costs!
Remark: Good spell for farming bosses - cooldown is 14 seconds, highest possible percentage is 32.14% and 21.21% on bosses (66% duration according to the tooltip). This spell renders your group practically invulnerable to physical damage, but the cooldown is relatively long. Also, it has no effect on spelldamage, which is important to consider especially in bossfights and PvP.
---
Dream Splitter [C]
The Priest throws 12 dream missiles away to the target location. The distance between the missile is depending on the distance from the monk to the target location. Whenever a dream splitter hits an enemy unit it will damage it depending on the monk's intelligence and heal it depending on the monk's strength if it is an ally. Can't heal himself with this spell!
Remark: Appropriate skill for support and heal Priest =)
---
Globe [X]
The Priest sends a mystical orb into the target direction which damages enemy units in a line dependent on the Priest's intelligence. The priest is able to reactivate this ability while the orb is on its way to teleport into it whereat the orb explodes and stun all nearby enemy units for 1.5 seconds.
Remark: Support's skill - nice damage+stun =) If used correctly , it is also very useful for tanks, that may appear in midst of enemies and stun them at the same time.
---
Great Deserve [F]
The Priest heals a target friendly unit by a percentage of its whole life and damage enemies in 300 AOE around the target unit by half of the life healed this way.
Remark: My favorite spell - so good healing + damage around the healed target =) Also with this spell you can heal towers in Hyppos!
---
Hand of Kahjem [Y]
The Priest increases the hitpoint-regeneration of the target allied unit dependent on his strength. Lasts 30 seconds.
Remark: On the 10stage 15hp/sec + 15% of target's strength. Cooldown is just 1 second and require only 150mp!! Very usefull spell for party game))
---
Holy Light [V]
The Priest instantly heals the target unit depending on his strength if it is an ally or damages it depending on his intelligence if it is an enemy.
Remark: Basic heal/damage "paladin's" skill =) Good as for leveling as for farming bosses
---
Pulse of Vengeance [R]
The Priest sends away a painful holy aura, which deals damage depending on his intelligence to enemy units within an AoE of 300 around him periodically. Lasts 8 seconds.
Remark: Good spell for deal damage Priest =) The possible total damage is quite high, but the cooldown is long, and in addition, the range is very small, so a Priest has to survive in direct proximity to the enemies for a considerable amount of time to make this ability efficient. Since the damage relies on int and int builds tend to have rather low HP, it is a challenge to make this spell work in a build.
---
Revival [A]
The Priest instantly revives target allied hero and restores its hitpoints depending on the monk's strength. The target's owner won't lose gold for death.
Remark: Unfortunatelly you can't revive yourself with this skill. But this skill is great as for leveling with someone as for boss farming on 60lvl. Cooldown is 35 seconds (it's amazing because there are 25 seconds while you can revive 60lvl's ally).
---
Sacred Nova [D]
The Priest releases a sacred nova which damages nearby enemy units dependent on the monk's intelligence. Deals damage to the Priest himself equal to 20% of his maximum hitpoints.
Remark: "Deals damage to the Priest himself equal to 20% of his maximum hitpoints" doesn't work and it makes this skill more attractive)) I like it =) Testing revealed 10% of max HP damage, but it is quickly healed anyway. Range appears to be 500, so proximity is not as required as it is for Pulse of Vengeance, especially not over a long period, but it has to be considered. For a damage ability, the cooldown is relatively long as well, even taking into account the amount of damage, so it is mostly effective against large groups of enemies.

---
Sky Light [E]
The Priest creates a Sky Light on the target location which damages enemy units within an AOE of 250 around it every second, slows their attack- and movement speed and moves with a decent speed to the position of the caster. Lasts 8 seconds. Slow effects does not stack with other Sky Lights!
Remark: Very useful for kiting enemies and escaping in general, but inefficient against several enemies, that are far apart from each other. When an enemy dies, the majority of the damage may be wasted.
---
Stars of Hope [Q]
Whenever the Priest is casts an ability he summons a starfall. Every second two stars are falling down to random units within an AoE of 500 around the effect which damages enemy units dependent on the Priest's intelligence and heals allied units dependent on his strength. Lasts 4 seconds. This effect has got a cooldown of 4 seconds.
Remark: The only passive skill for Priest - and it is a must in any priests arsenal I think)) 8 hits, either healing or damage. Remarkably unnoticable in large fights because of random targeting.
---
Wall of Light [S]
Creates a wall of light which sends away missiles from its two ends. On contact a holy missile damages an enemy unit for an intelligence depending amount or heals an ally for a strength depending amount. Lasts 4 seconds.
Remark: 14 ticks of damage or healing over 3.5 seconds with a cooldown, that is short enough to keep it casted almost constantly. This skill should be at each build=) Pretty good as for heal as for deal damage=)

I recommend some skill builds which I use but they are not unique -you must change your skills in accordance with the game situation!

Approximate Skill build for pure heal:
Great Deserve, Hand of Kahjem, Holy Light, Revival, Stars of Hope, Wall of Light + Dream Splitter.

Approximate Skill build for support:
Stars of Hope, Wall of Light, Great Deserve(these 3 heal spells aslo deal a damage), Blinding Ray (to blind enemieis), Sacred Nova, Sky Light + Dream Splitter.

Approximate Skill build for pure deal damage:
Sky Light, Holy Light, Stars of Hope, Wall of Light, Dream Spitter, Sacred Nova.

Approximate Skill build for tanking:
Wall of Light,Great Deserve,Blinding Ray,Hand of Kahjem,Stars of Hope, Globe.

5. Gameplay (Builds)
Spoiler
As I say at the beginning of the guide, you can skill your Priest how you want to
-heal/tank
-support/deal damage

But if your Priest will be able to deal a lot of damage, his healing will be so low and backwards too =) You can try to combine "heal" and "damage". Anyway you can change your builds in accordance with the game situation!

Anyway for your leveling I recommend to start like this:
Lvl 1-5 pure str
Lvl 6-10 pure int
Lvl 11-15 pure str
Lvl 16-20 pure int
Lvl 21-25 pure str
Lvl 26-30 pure int
Lvl 30-33 pure str
Lvl 34-37 pure int

Then your stats looks like this:
Str: 100
Agi: 10
Int: 100

Now you can choose between heal/tank and support/deal damage:

[*]If you have chosen a heal or tank , skill everything to Strength. Because your heal depends on your Strength. Also you know that in War3 Strength increases your hp-points and hp-regen and it's vitally important to tank. It's 3/0/2 build.

[*]But if you have chosen support or deal damage, skill all points to Intelligence. Because your damage depends on Intelligence. It's 2/0/3 build.

[*]If you are advanced player you can also use builds 4/0/1 (for tank and heal) and 1/0/4 (for deal damage). First build also is great for healer, second build is perfect against Cronos if you want to deal a lot of damage =)

Quote:
However, especially while playing Priest, advanced players may begin specialising at a lower level. I started out my personal full heal build with 4/0/1 each level until 60, only requiring more mana potions than most builds. Due to the healing aspect of the Priest's abilities, an offensive approach using more int than str at a low level should be viable as well © PSYCHO[dkdc]

Also your skills and items must depend on your role in the game!

6. Leveling
Spoiler
That's not an easy way to leveling alone. But if your are playing with another player (especially with a tank) the progress for you and your friend will be great due to your heal=)
Some tips:
1) Try to avoid big groups of enemy units (like in orc camp or near the Golden golem)
2) Primarily choose "Holy light" and "Wall of Light" - this skills can safe you and damage the enemies. These skills are pretty good for leveling!
3) Keep "Revival" to 1 step if you play with partner=) It helped me many times!
4) Don't forget about items with passive-auras!
5) Primarily choose 3 skills till 20+ level (ideal as I advised "Holy light", "Wall of Light", also I recommend "Stars of Hope" and "Dream Splitter")

7.Farming
Spoiler
Your farming depends on your equipments=) If you are playing alone you can farm gold on:
- Orc camp (You get till 1000 gold per run+you can do quests and it's pretty easy for Priest)
- Spider Path (But you should be more armored when in Orc camp))
- Azura dragon (300 gold per kill+you can sell items)
- Ice dragons (if you have nice equipments for armor and hp)
- The Hell (if you have Nalan's set and weapon with "+for damage" (against machines) you can solo farm the hell and get gold, exp and teal items))
- For survivable players I can also recommend farming Dream World for gold. It is (after Merati) the fastest source. But it's also a hardest way - units in Dream World have a great damage (Phantom - 1000, Sleaper - 2000!+splash damage. Other units have a less damage) Also often there are a lot of units near the entrance...

8.Boss killing
Spoiler
Freezor (Murgul Mage) 10lvl
It's first boss in GOH and he is more danger when enemy units nearby! If you play alone don't try to kill him until 10-12 lvl. If you play in the party it's not so hard)
If somebody of your party has a summon units (ranger, ele mage) it's pretty good for killing him=)

Golden Golem 20lvl
This boss and bosses with higher lvl have a great hp regen! You must consider it!
Be careful with his Golden Bash (Single Target Stun - he changes his target after stun! - if your tank is under the stun just try to play for time and run away) and Golden Stomp (AOE Stun - 60 damage).

Azura (Elemental Dragon) 30lvl
Be careful when she uses a Firestorm (AOE-Summoning Spell - 60 damage per hit of fires, physical+magic damage). Besides that it's an easy boss=)

Medite (Naga Queen) 35lvl
Be ready for her Tsunami skill(AOE Spell - tsunami 250 damage - lightning 62 damage) - to heal or to avoid it =) I reccomend to stay not to close to the tank - because of aoe skill of Naga Queen and her summon ability!

Smokey_Bud (Broodmother) 40lvl
Be ready to heal your party when he uses his Spider Nova (AOE damage) like Sacred Nova=) It's an easy boss besides that =)

Xi-Pasi Mù (Earth Guardian) 45lvl
You have to heal your tank - this boss has a good damage and powerfull skill (Overgrow(Nuke-Disable Spell - 100 damage per second for 3 seconds))

Dragonis (Keeper of the Dragons) 50lvl
He is not a tricky boss - if you are 60 lvl you can kill him solo without any troubles.
While you are levelling it's vitally important to slay all units nearby because they have a big damage and frost attack!
Be careful with his summons units - they are draining mana very quickly!

Moshrak (Pit Roboter) 55lvl
Be careful with his Permanent Rockets(Passive - 225 damage) and Steel Golems (Summoning Spell - Steel Golem, repair, spell immunity)

Askalor (Demon Lord) 60lvl
Just heal tank and everybody!!! From 1.35 version this boss is not bugged and now he is really powerfull with his aoe skill (Wrath of the Flames) and summon units (from 1.35 they are fater)

Cronos (Fire Lord) 60lvl
On Cronos reid you are the pearl to the team! You can heal on the Hell and revive your allies in the battle with boss=)
In 1.34 Priest also can solo Cronos (see "Videos" part of the guide).

Merati 60 lvl
Just heal your tank and don't be so close to Merati because he has got splash damage

9.Items
Spoiler
There are a lot of items which are suitable for Priest because you've already know that Priest is the universal class)) But I tried to select items for Priest and divide them on levels. For leveling I think Priest must choose int and str equally (see "Gameplay") and also choose items which can add a lot of stats maybe only without Agility=)

For 1-10 levels
All items are good when you are 1-10 lvl)))
Also on first levels I don't reccomend to avoid common items (white) - it's better when nothing)) Because if you are level up fast probably you will not have all slots with color items=) For instance you can take uncolor boots, gloves because there are not these good color items for Priest on first levels.

There are especially good items on 1-10:
Kobold shovel 3lvl Weapon
Small Mace 4 lvl Weapon
Brass Amulet 4 lvl Misc
Ancestor's Mask 5lvl Head
Magical Prism 5lvl Misc
Skull Shield 6 lvl Shield
Iron Shield 6 lvl Shield
Ring of the Wise 7lvl Misc
Dark magical Amulet 8lvl Misc

Icy Belt 15lvl Body
Intra Scepter 15lvl Weapon
Rare Monk Robe 15lvl Body
Ring of Intelligence 15lvl Misc

Boots of the Druid 20lvl Feet (first good boots for Priest in the game)
Heaven Diamond 20lvl Misc
Orcish Pipe 20lvl Misc
Kobalt Amulet 20lvl Misc
Spell Shield 20lvl Shield

For 21-30 levels
Armor of Will 25lvl Body
Moon Armor 25lvl Body
Mask of magic 25lvl Head
Spell Gloves 25lvl Hands (first good gloves for Priest in the game)

Horn of Magic 25lvl Misc
Rune staff 25 lvl Weapon
Necro staff 25lvl Weapon
V-mace 30lvl Weapon
Pharaoh mask 30lvl Head (Best head slot to Priest till Naga Crown - even so it depends of your build))

Also you can take Golden Helmet (20lvl 10sp) from Golden Golem - this Helmet is better when Sky Helmet

Also I strongly recommend two items from boss Azura:
Dragon mask Head (It's the best "Head slot" for Priest on 30lvl))
Dragon orb Misc ( +350 MP and HP + 5% spellpower and spellresistance!!)
Thay are for 30 lvl and they require 15sp points.

Also you can try to collect Reyas set for 30lvl but it will demand a lot of time I guess it's needless =)

For 31-44 levels
Volcanic shield 35lvl Shield
Scroll of light 40lvl Misc (Nice for healer)
Scroll of balance 40lvl Misc (Nice for Deal damage Priest)
Scepter of mind 40lvl Weapon (Nice weapon for each build)
Death shield 40lvl Shield
Dark piece 40lvl Misc

Also I recommend items from Medite (Naga Queen) - they demand 35lvl and 20 sp points:
Gem of the Sea Misc (+5% spellheal +30 int +10 manasteal)
Naga Crown Head
Naga Shield Shield (best shield for Priest till Crystal Shield from Dragonis)
Hand of the Mermaid Misc (nice for dealdamage Priest)

Also I recommend Spider Shell 40lvl Body from Broodmother Smokey Bud.

For 45-59 levels
Wizards hat 45lvl Head (suitable for damage dealer)
Luna Armor 45lvl Body
Holy Crest 45lvl Head (suitable for healer)
Golden Mace 45lvl Weapon
Frost Armor 55lvl Body
Boots of Fahras 55lvl Feet
Greater Ring of Intelligence 55lvl Misc
Greater Ring of Strength 55lvl Misc
Carapace 55lvl Shield (Nice for tanking)

Also you can try to collect two sets - Ecran's arcane Set (45lvl) and Orns holy Set (50lvl). Orns holy Set is set only for Priest ant it's rather suitable for heal Priest (add 25% spellheal)
Ecran's arcane Set:
Ecran's arcane Helm Head
Ecran's arcane Shield Shield
Ecran's arcane Sword Weapon

Orns holy Set:
Orns holy Book Misc
Orns holy Robe Body
Orns holy Wand Weapon (nice weapon till 60lvl)
You can try to collect this set from frost dragons - good luck!

Also I recommend advice to take Shield of Nature from Earth Guardian Xi-pasi-Mu for tank-Priest or for solo-Priest
Also I strongly recommend items from boss Dragonis (Keeper of the Dragons):
Crystal Armor Body (suitable for each build))
Crystal Mace Weapon (Very nice with Crystal Shield also => +30% spellpower and +70 int together))
Crystal Orb Misc
Crystal Shield Shield (Perfect sheild =) )
Crystal Boots Feet
These items demand 50lvl and 35 sp points.

Battery Misc (from boss Moshrak - this misc demands 55lvl and 40 sp points.)

For 60 level
I recommend 2 sets - Lightning Set(for damage) and Nalan's set(for survival)
Lightning Set
Lightning Boots Feet
Lightning Gloves Hand
Lightning Shield Shield

Nalan's set
Nalan's Chest Body
Nalan's Gloves Hand
Nalan's Helmet Head

Also I suggest to use:
Scroll of Tears 60lvl Misc (good misc for spellpower)
Blacker Orb 60lvl Misk (only for deal damage Priest because this item decrease your armor)
Niob Armor 60lvl Body (Good for tanking)

And items from bosses:
Askalor's dark Mace 60lvl Weapon (Askalor)
Lava Guard 60lvl Shield (Cronos)
Blazing Eyes 60lvl Head (Cronos)

Approximate Items build for pure deal damage:
Armagica Helmet Head (spellpower+25%)
2x Archmage Ring Miscs (spellpower+30% each one)
Battlestaff of Masterja Weapon (spelldamage+40%)
Elemental Armor Body (spelldamage+30%)
Chaos boots Feet (spelldamage+25%)
=> maximum spelldamage=)

or also you can use:
Abyss Mace, Magisil, Serpentine Mace and Askalor's dark Mace - all weapons less effective when Battlestaff of Masterja
Spell Shapes Hand (spellpower+15%)

Approximate Items build for tank:
Mastery shield Shield
Boots of Terminator Feet
Sun Claws Weapon
Kings Helmet Head

Armagica Helmet Head (spellpower+25%)
Corona Body (spellheal+40%)

Pet
For Priest I recommend Phoenix pet - it's usefull for each build=)
Equipment for pet:
[*] Slots for HP and MP potions
[*] Shirts of.../Black Belt - and other items with unique-passive aura
[*] Staff of Annuling and other items with unique-active abilities =)
[*]Odin's Relic for Hell solo farming=)

- Priest: Hand of Kahjem - increased buff duration from 30 seconds to 45 seconds.
- Priest: Hand of Kahjem - increased casting range from 600 to 800.

versions 1.35b and 1.35c 08/05/2015
- Priest: Wall of Light - increased cooldown from 7 seconds to 8 seconds.

For 1.35 Robbepop promissed for Priest - "Priest: minor nerfs and minor buffs to some spells" (look there - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1914&p=15892&hilit=minor+balance#p15892 ).
As you can see Robbepop as promissed debaf some Priest abilities (Wall of Light, Revival, Great Deserve, Globe, Blinding Ray) and baf some (Sky Light, Hand of Kahjem), change the system of calculation for Pulse of Vengeance. The most strong debaf for all Priests are increased cooldown for Wall of the Light (twice - from 4 to 8 seconds!!!) and impossibility to heal the buildings with Great Deserve (valuably for Hyposs defend).

11.Other opinions
Spoiler
There are some formulated veiws other forum members:

dahunksta:
Priest (monk) - I think the hero is great. (Although it wouldn't hurt to buff damage of spells a bit...)
Not many people realize that Priest is not a stand still and heal/cast hero. You gotta move around: and target stuff (allies or enemies); rally crowds; dodge and kite. A lot of fun and huge crowd control. Definitely underrated.
Wall of light is definitely a must for heal or dps.
INT priest = damage;
STR priest = healer;
INT/STR priest = the combo, which means no maximum output on either end - which people dont like and thus don't him. It's not the character, it's the newbs. :)
AGI priest (which i have done) = not very effective... although he can tank longer than other heros at full AGI because of healing himself while fighting. ©

PSYCHO[dkdc]
Of all heroes, that I played, Priest is by far the slowest. Why?

As the damage does not rival others, heal and support seems to be the primary purpose, tanking secondary. Hence, there are currently no boots (the suggestion has been through a long time ago, hopefully added in the next version) with large benefit compared to other items (such as Arch Mage Ring (-10 ac, + 5% sd, +30% sh, -100 ms).

Both a reason not to pick boots and why Priest is slow is Wall Of Light, which is the Priest's strongest spell. To recieve the full heal, you have to stand still for 3,5 seconds.

The Priest's movement spell is also by far the slowest (arguably also the worst, but Necromancers have rarely been able to use Pull Of Destruction either, so I will not get into this discussion). It moves very slowly and it requires two casts. In an intensive fight, one might be stunned and not be able to activate the cast. The stun however indicates, that it is more useful to move into a battle and stun (tanking aspect). Once in battle, the Priest does not move much.

Spells like Sky Light slow down enemies, but are hard to be kept at hitting enemies, unless one is standing among them.

I completely agree, that Priests would be needed in fights with a higher unavoidable damage output, but I think my suggestion in that matter is over two years old, so there is no point in discussing that aspect any further.
However, being needed and being balanced is not the same thing.

In addition, my point still stands, that the Priest is the slowest class. I would not mind, if he were arithmetically balanced with a slight bonus.

Plus, as you might have noticed, concerning balance, I only consider skilled players. While e.g. Assassin may be a hard class to play for new players, she is still very capable and not as far underpowered as many people say. That still means, that a change is recommended, to either reward the difficulty arithmetically or lower it without increasing damage output / survivability rate significantly, but the class in general does not qualify as significantly underpowered.

As for Priest, the difficulty should be increased, and the numbers as well. I am unsure, how that would be possible. Perhaps some of the spells could exclude self target, somewhat like revival, to orient certain builds more toward support and others rather towards damage.

Concerning PvP in reality, a Priest only survives, if he manages to cast Wall Of Light before being stunned / silenced, and I say this for my full str healing Priest. Any other builds die even more easily.
Real PvP balance has too little HP however, and I believe that 500% handicap fights would be far more balanced and enjoyable, so this is a somewhat mute point, if PvP is not to be considered.

I might not have made this clear enough, but Priest is actually also underpowered in terms of survival, in PvE possibly even support. "Slightly" underpowered, but still noticably underpowered, IF you pay attention to numbers, and do not mistake it as an individual incompability of playstyles.

Also, Priest has rather few different variants for stats and item builds. They may seem to be more, but the main reason for that is the lack of creativity among most players, who repeat builds instead of theorycrafting the potential ones. ©

TakIntI
Ofc priest is better tank. Priest is an imba tank, people just cant imagine him tanking. He is also a great disabler.
I use him as mix of all. MIXER TAKI! Taki the Mixer ©

gbembecker
Hi, i'm making a priest, my build is str:110 and int:210, its pretty good to me, i have a good damage with a good heal as well.

you said that priest is slow, but u forget that globe skill, i think that this skill is the mobility he needs, cuz i teleports him and stun the monsters, something i use alot, cuz u teleport in the midle of the monsters, and spam wall of light, till they die.

this skill can replace holy light, sky light or dream spliter, giving the priest more mobility, a little less damage, but increases the survival chance, cuz u dont need to walk till the monster. ©

Thank you for your attention! I hope you liked it!
I'm waiting for your questions and suggestions!
I will constantly update the guide :) Waiting for 1.35d version-)

Hiho,

thank you very much for your contribution to the GoH RPG forum and community with this priest guide!

I like it and it is cool to have an up-to-date priest guide from a currently active community member. =)

Besides that there are some typos and it would be cool if you could put more of your personal meaning and experience into some of the ability descriptions - e.g. WHEN one could use it, WHAT are the specialities in terms of usage of this ability, are there cool side effects etc. =)

As your guide isn't finished yet I am looking forward to its final version.

Robbepop

Hello,

nice work, Igrush. Next time I play Priest I will check your guide :D Just to mention that items for 1-10 lvl mostly aren't obtained when you are 10 lvl already and late items. Blame that on Robbepop, however it is still nice to know what items to pick to enchance abilities for survival.

As usual, I will try my best to contribute to discussions concerning some of my most frequently played classes. In this case, much has been said to the form of the guide itself, so I will focus only on the contents. Note, that just as your guide is incomplete thus far, as will be my comments and additions, and not solely because of said incompletion of your guide, but rather also because of my limited commemorative capacity.

First actual comment:
Spoiler
2. Pros and cons
Although Priest is the only class, that is frequently played in support or healing builds, it is technically not the only class with any capabilities in that aspect. A Priest may be able to generate the highest HP/S, but e.g. Seraph may provide viable support with strong armour buffs by Blessing and skills such as Roar of Glory. Other classes have only minor supportive / non-self-healing abilities, but Priest appeared to be implicitly singled out more than it would appear accurate.

Pure healing / tanking builds are relatively rare throughout the community, because many players do not expect to play in a team and would then lack damage fighting alone, but they provide the Priest with a tanking capability, that few can match.
This should (of course paraphrased and shortened) also appear among the pros imo.

As you neglected the tanky builds at this point already, you are neglecting them again for the consideration of the Priest's survivability, which is heavily dependent on the build, but may otherwise attain any value (a Priest mainly focusing on Strength and Spellheal items should not have any problems to survive at any level).

4. Skills
I have written some comments concerning single abilities in some other posts and may use that material and gained experience since then to advise here, once you add your opinion.

Concerning the builds, I am (again) missing the suggestion for tanks, even though a tank build would only require a slight alteration from the healing build, which is Blinding Ray. You did mention Blinding Ray in a support build, but a tank build should contain mostly healing abilities.
You may choose to add Blinding Ray in the enumeration of skills for healing builds and label it as (for tanks) or similar and add tanking to the roles provided by said build.

5. Gameplay (Builds)
I see, that you chose an all-round approach with a specialisation at 100 of str and int. Ironically, I have used a similar distribution with my Elemental Mage.
However, especially while playing Priest, advanced players may begin specialising at a lower level. I started out my personal full heal build with 4/0/1 each level until 60, only requiring more mana potions than most builds. Due to the healing aspect of the Priest's abilities, an offensive approach using more int than str at a low level should be viable as well.
It is important to mention though, that specialised builds will be viable in teams, but much weaker while playing alone.

I applaud, that you chose to put a focus on calibrating abilities and attributes.

6. Leveling
If you choose to play a tanky build, you will easily level alone anywhere. Even killing most bosses at a low level will not be a problem. The only malus is putting up with the high regeneration of Aurum and later bosses. Thus, though killing and especially surviving these bosses may easily be possible, farming is inefficient.

Due to current (un)balance, Wall of Light is suggested for any build in any situation. For those interested in calculations, it ticks 14 times.

7. Farming
A spot, that is often forgotten, unseen, or simply neglected, is the Spider Path. With low armour, it may be a problem, but from a certain point it is not difficult to survive there, and leveling is viable until around 21-22, if there is AoE damage to deal with the amount of enemies. Another advantage is not having invlunerable structures, if the main quest is not advanced to that part.

General farming information such as this will be supplied in my overall guide, should I ever get around to work on that again.

As far as I know, Azura only grants 300 gold per kill, and only to the lasthitting player (and actually I should know, because I farmed Azura for most of my characters to reach 100k for the Minipet). Unless you count item drops, then 700 gold seem to be realistic. However, depending on your killspeed and potion requirements, selling these items is not efficient (fast kills take around 13 seconds).

For survivable players and potent groups, I can also recommend farming Dream World for gold. It is (after Merati) the fastest source.

As I said above, I will most likely address these issues in a separate guide, so I will not go into detail on everything you wrote or suggest more possibilities. However, an aspect you have not mentioned, is experience farming, item farming probably soon being covered by the other sections.

8. Boss killing
Your comments only cover the view of a Dps Priest. For an all-round guide, you may want to consider tank / healer views of the fights. Including being able to fight and farm almost all bosses earlier.

Sadly, Priests belong to the less useful classes in Hell and fighting Cronos for more experienced players, as they die due to traps less frequently and are more capable of surviving on their own, as it is not very difficult there in general.

As for Dream World, I can tell you, that I could tank there with my 250/10/70 build on level 60 without a single mastery item (teal). Blinding Ray is important for any role, and you should take great care with large groups. Also, entering can be tricky, if there are a lot of units around the spawnpoint. Priests are almost always appreciated as supplemental healers, though full healers are capable of keeping almost every group alive.
A strategy for Merati should again be addressed in a more general environment.

9. Items
LvL 1-10:
Additionally useful although perhaps not optimal items (I do not claim for them not to be optimal either, this can be calculated, but I will not bother at this point and it may vary for builds anyway):
Fizik Staff
Rune Sword
Mana Crystal

Small Mace
Magical Prism
Dark magical Amulet

LvL 11-20:
Sky Helmet
Orcish Pipe

I may add more "missing" items, once you complete your list. However, your choice of items is already pretty good, and the ones I listed are mostly alternatives, that can be used for other builds or until the items, that you listed, are found.
That being said, I also recommend the occasional use of some common items (white).

This should be it for now, it is all, that I noticed or remembered at this moment.
I look forward to seeing more of your guide, and a more active discussion about Priest and his possibilities in general.

It's my fault - I'll fix it - I didn't stress the tank build and skills separately - I'll do itr))

I concur about level-up but on my opinion it's a matter of dispute about killing bosses solo - I'll try to use my savecodes on different levels and check it =)

You are right of 300 gold per kill - I checked. I take it from another post without checking - it's my mistake) But I keep this way in guide as one of numerous =)

But everyone(and experienced players too) can make a mistake and it's so easy for Priest to revive his ally)It's a good bonus besides his heal and damage=) Also priest can make a such good damage to able to kill Cronos solo - This is why I guess Priest isn't belong to the less usefull classes in Hell - conversely he is so usefull in Hell (especially for unskillfull players but for experienced players too))

Quote:

I agree but if you can to give me a couple of advices it would be great)) We tried to slay Merati - but we haven't enough of damage...it seemed to me that for heal this fight not so hard - 2 healers are enough to maintain 2 tanks=)

First of all, you do not have to respond to every reply to your post. But if you wish to do so, you may do it in a single post as well. You can either just type the quote blocks yourself and simply copy+paste the text or you can scroll down in the full editor, where the last 10 posts are listed, and then you can select text and press the quote button.

This should make your posts readable more easily.

Again addressing the issue with Hell / Cronos:
Priests are usually the ones, that die first, because they are "slow"
(the term "slow" in this context is used as I used it in a so far unpublished section of theocrafting, meaning that the Priest's set of abilities does not promote fast movement, and there is no item for the feet slot, that would be specifically useful for a healer).
Sometimes Priests go along, or damage Priests help killing Cronos, but healers usually only enter the bossrooom if someone died.

As for Merati, I had the occasion to be part of a group farming him multiple times, and it is quite easy, once everyone knows, what to do, and if the majority of players have fitting items already.
Most setups will be fine with one healer, people with more survivable builds can even kill Merati without any healing player.

Again, I look forward to seeing the rest of your guide, keep going.
