Winter gloves don't work. They have slow orb effect that only creates slow animation when attacking, but doesn't affect enemy. Only orb effect that works for illusions is mana break orb (magina in DotA, or diffusal blade).

thanks masterja, i was getting irritated at having to reply comments that are so unfounded. I've thought that i made my point clear and concise enough, but still people go on disregarding them completely! and to adi: please, confirm your statements before asserting them. I'm pretty sure that since you can think that wintergloves works on illusions, you won't even know whether damage bonuses works for sure!

Test the real damage output instead of looking at the visuals on the assasin's illusions itself. Illusions in warcraft are not so simple, it has alot of cosmetic effects of the original hero, but damage system is not so direct.

Agreed on that - as i already explained, its WC3 engine that keeps illusions the way they are - they DONT get pure damage bonus, only those from Stats (even stat bonuses, this was tested through and through), so i guess that phoenix helps a bit. Also, armor doesn't work on illusions, and ALL damage they receive is pure, aka un-reduced.

Yes, you're right about those. Problem is, GOH is unique in the sense that illusions don't even get stat bonus. I've tried not with pet but with items, bonus agi doesn't give my illusions bonus damage in GOH ..... Can anyone confirm this? But i'm pretty sure of it, because i did a test specifically for that purpose.

Hmmm... I thought they work. In DotA, stat bonuses work like charm, however if what you say is true, then I think its possible to change some stuff about illusion through "Advanced -> Gameplay Constants" in world editor. If thats possible, Robbe could change whole way illusions work.

A confirmation: Illusions get no benefit from anything. Only scythe and black belt.
Also hp giving items ofcourse.

I was messing with editor and indeed found that illusions can be tweaked to a degree through Advaced -> Game constants, with these lines:

Gameplay - Illusions are autocast targets
Gameplay - Illusions bestow auras
Gameplay - Illusions can restore life
Gameplay - Illusions can restore mana
Gameplay - Illusions get attack bonuses
Gameplay - Illusions get attack speed bonuses
Gameplay - Illusions get defense bonuses
Gameplay - Illusions get movement speed bonuses

All of these are probably set to false since they don't work in GoH. By switching them, Robbe can make them stronger indeed.
